bombing of the United States Embassy in Saigon Mr. Anderson was chief of building maintenance there and his group was responsible for restoring the Embassy building in eleven days.
Anderson served with the Activated Virginia National Guard from 1939-41 and with the United States Air Force from ’42 to ’45. After his discharge, he was employed by the Veterans’ Administration in Washington where he became Chief of Telecommunications before going with C.I.A. (1949-’73).
A graveside service was held Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond.
