Governor Mills E. Godwin Jr. has designated November 7-14 as Virginia Agriculture Week.

Governor Godwin said: “In recognition of this rich legacy and the traditions of rural life that have contributed so much to Virginia, there has been set aside the period November 7-14, 1976, as Virginia Agriculture Week, and I call its significance to the attention of all people.”

Norman Coyner, president of Fauquier County Farm Bureau concurs with the governor in paying tribute to agriculture in Virginia.
