Two Rationally known poets, Ann Darr and Merrill Leffler, and the Bennington Chamber Ensemble will be giving two programs of poetry and music in Rappahannock on February 17 and 18.

Ann Darr was a test pilot in World War II. She has written and performed radio scripts on NBC and ABC and is the winner of several poetry awards. Her most recent book, “Cleared For Landing,” was published by Dryad Press.

Merrill Leffler is a former Professor at the U. S. Naval Academy. He is one of the leaders of the Writers Center at Glen Echo, Md. He is a free lance writer and poet, and is the editor and publisher for Dryad Press.

The Bennington Chamber Ensemble consists of four young musicians from Bennington College who are now on tour throughout the country. They play flute, clarinet, guitar and contrabass. They will improvise and perform original as well
