Butler
Mrs. Margaret Butler, 100, formerly of Woodville, died Thursday November 22, 1979 at Oak Springs Nursing Home in Warrenton.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of Tas Fincham and Caroline Jenkins Fincham. Her husband was the late William Arthur Butler. She was a member of Woodville Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Jenkins of Woodville and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jenkins of Fairfax, 16 grandchildren and a number of greatgrandchildren.
A funeral was held Sunday, from the Geest Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper. The Rev. J. Richard Winter conducted the rites.
Snow
Graveside services for Mrs. Sarah Norwood Snow of Boston were conducted Wednesday at Culpeper National Cemetery by the Rev. William H. Brake Jr.
Mrs. Snow, 68, wife of William Boylan Snow Jr., died Sunday, November 25, 1979, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Greensboro, N. C., she was the daughter of the late Garland Sevier Ferguson Jr. and the late Margaret Merrimon Ferguson.
She was a resident of the Washington, D. C., area during most of her life and had lived at Boston for the past seven years. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Culpeper.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a brother, Garland Sevier Ferguson III of Alexandria.
