Following successful completion of a six-month work program with the Soil Conservation Service and the educational program at the college, students are eligible for employment as a soil conservation technician at GS-4 entrance level.

Senior citizens 60 years of age and over who live in Culpeper, Rappahannock, Fauquier, Orange, or Madison counties can obtain a senior discount card which provides a discount on goods or services when the card is presented to a participating merchant.

A $1 contribution is requested.

Mt. Salem Service

Mt. Salem Baptist Church, near Washington, will have services December 2 and 16 at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Bobby Rooper from Culpeper will be guest speaker. The public is urged to attend.

Christmas

Workshop

A Christmas workshop for Extension Homemakers will be held Friday, November 30, at 10 a.m. at the Flint Hill fire hall. Subsequent meetings will be Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call the Extension Office to register.
