—Rappahannock Nch-s Phnio/Daphne Hutchinson GEORGE BEARD, Rappahannock’s Delegate to the Virginia General Assembly, was a speaker at the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection’s quarterly meeting last Friday. Also on the program were E. P. Luke, (left) chairman of the Rappahannock supervisors, and Jim Northup, naturalist from Shenandoah National Park. Northup gave a talk on the increasing problem of “acid rain” while Luke brought the audience up-to-date on the status of the county’s comprehensive plan.
