“I don't think there are any restrictions on sale," replied that co-op’s general manager, Ted Gore. “However, the intent of the organization is not to buy the property for resale...We have no intention of doing that what-so-ever," Gore stated.
“That’s now. What about ten years from now?" Swift countered.
“Right now, with the property they have, they can put up a restaurant, a hotel...They don’t have to ask anybody,’’ interjected supervisor chairman E. P. Luke.

Santa To
Visit Library
Santa will make his yearly visit to the Ragpahannbck Library’s Christmas party today, Thursday, December 13, starting at 3:30 p.m.
Parents are urged to bring youngsters. pre-school through second grade, to see Santa and get a treat. Refreshments will be served and gifts will be handed out.
Court Of
Honor
Thirty-three merit badges were awarded at the recent Court of Honor held by Boy Scout Troop 123 of Washington.
Badges earned included firs and wildlife management, forestry, Indian lore, leather works, life saving, reptile study, safety, soil and water conservation and wood carving.
Receiving six-year pins were Gary Smoot. Jimmy Bywaters, Eric Bear and Downing McCoy, and those given four-year pins were Edward Summers and Dale Cameron.
Mike White got a threeyear pin and two-year recognition went to Ricky Shaw and James Freeman. Chuck Jenkins and Robert Burke were given year pins.
Other scouts attending were Donald Hitt, Greg Smith, Stephen Wiley. Lucky McCoy, and Bobby Jenkins.
