I Say Thanks
To the editor:
The “night crew” of the Sperryville Rescue Squad consists of Cecil Baldwin, Julian Brown, Donald Gore and Steve Leake. I wonder if the folks in this community realize how fortunate we are to have this great team “working” (strictly volunteers”) for us. They are all well-trained, efficient and caring. On more than one occasion, this past year I have interrupted their nights rest because I needed help. They always responded promptly and cheerfully. Frop*, the bottom of my heart; I sa^ “thanks to you all, for a job well done”.

Surprised
To the editor:
I would like for you to know how much I have enjoyed your recent articles on the small shops and businesses located in Rappahannock.
I was truly surprised to learn how many, ^nd how varied, places there are to browse and shop. I intend to visit as many as possible in the next week or so.
My husband and I were reared in Rappahannock and even though we moved away in I960, it will always be "HOME”.
I would like to suggest that these articles, with possibly a map showing locations, be placed in a directory type booklet and be made available to the public. I know I would use and enjoy having one as I know the articles, which I am saving, will disappear one day as all the other things I have kept have done.
