Jenkins

Graveside services for Mrs. Alice Sarah Jenkins, 77, of Sperryville were conducted Tuesday at the Sperryville Cemetery by the Rev. Ronald Wiley and the Rev. Marvin Cook.

Mrs. Jenkins died Saturday, December 8, 1979 at Mt. View Nursing Home, Aroda, after a long illness.

She was a lifelong resident of Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Lindsey Powell and Carrie Jenkins, and was the wife of the late Thomas E. Jenkins.

Survivors include a son, Marshall H. Jenkins of Culpeper; two daughters, Mrs. Luther S. Jenkins of Sperryville and Mrs. Earl B. Jenkins of Remington; five 1 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Jenkins of Manassas, and a brother, Simon Jenkins of Fairfax.

Dodson

Mrs. Gertie Frazier Dodson, 100, of The Plains, died Wednesday, December 5, 1979 at her home in Marshall.

A funeral service was conducted Saturday from Belvoir Assembly of God Church at Marshall, with the Rev. Allen Riggleman. Burial was in Marshall Cemetery.

Mrs. Dodson was born June 27, 1879 in Rap-' pahannock County, daughter of the late Lewis and Isabell Fletcher Frazier. She was a member of Belvoir Assembly of God Church. She was the! wife of the late Hugh M. Dodson.

She is survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 greatgrandchildren and six greatgreat-grandchildren.
