Dr. and Mrs. John O’Bannon, of Richmond announce the birth of a son, Andrew Hill, born December 7 at the Medical College of Virginia.
Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Woodward, Tabby Sue, John Jr. and Jeffery of Castleton were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Brew Burke. Their Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bayne, Ricky, Missy and Michelle of Culpeper.
B. L. Price of Vienna was a Sunday morning visitor of Raymond Johnson.
Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clark and Misty Hitt were Mr. and Mrs. Collier Fox of Luray and Kristie Johnson. Tuesday afternoon callers of the Clarks were Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Johnson and Ruth Rowles.
Mrs. Chester Wayland was a Wednesday overnight guest of her brother-in-law and sister. Mr. and Mrs. John Creel in Culpeper.
Mrs. Ann Yates of Washington, D. C. was a Friday visitor of Mrs. H. B. Winfrey and Mrs. Dillard Glenn.
Mr. and Mrs. K. P. Grigsby entertained at dinner Weddnesday evening in honor of their daughter, Sandra, who was home from the Navy after eight weeks of basic training at the Orlando Naval Base, Orlando, Fla. Guests included, Mr. and Mrs. Willie McFarland, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Broyles and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grigsby and son, all of Sperryville, Mr. and Mrs. James McFarland and sons, Eugene McFarland, Sandra Hudson and John Lee Jr., all of Washington and Mrs. and Mrs. W. M. Tharpe and family of Castleton. Miss Grigsby left Thursday evening for Chanute Air Force Base in Champain, 111. for twenty-two weeks of training in weather forecasting.
