All Fruit Growers of Rappahannock, County are invited to an Apple Pruning Demonstration on December 19th at 1:00 p.m., held at Tholand's Piedmont Farm on Route 231 about 5 miles South of Sperryville.
The demonstration is sponsored by the Rappahannock Extension Office and will be conducted by George Williams, Extension Specialist of VPI, E. L. Phillips, Extension Horticulturist of Shenandoah Valley Research Station and Dr. Calbin Lyons of the Winchester Fruit Research Station.For

Child Hurt
William Wallace Knight of Washington, a seven-year-old child, sustained head injuries when he fell from a moving pickup truck on Route 211 near Washington on December 6, according to Trooper R. A. Baines.
The child was riding in the truck, a 1974 Chevrolet, which was operated by Coy D. Watson. also of Washington. Knight was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital by Washington Rescue Squad.
