Graveside services for Mrs. Ann Keyser Woolfolk, 71, of Louisa were held December 5 in Louisa Christian Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. E. Ben Barbour.
Mrs. Woolfolk died December 2, 1979 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. She was the widow of Robert Kent Woolfolk.
She is survived by two daughters, Lucy Woolfolk Marshall of Petersburg and Alice Woolfolk Dooley of Lynchburg; five grandchildren; two sisters, Flora Keyser Jones of Flint Hill and Beulah K. Stembers of New York, and a brother, Aubrey H. Keyser of Washington.
Mrs. Woolfolk was a native of Rappahannock County, born April S, 1908, a daughter of the late Hubert Forest Keyser and Lula Wood Keyser. ,
Mrs. Woolfolk graduated from Harrisonburg State Teachers’ College (now James Madison University) and in the early 1930’s was a Home Demonstration Agent in Louisa and later a Home Economist for Virginia Public Service. She served on the Louisa County Welfare Board and later became the owner and operator of Woolfolk & Co., local garment manufacturing plant which she operated from 1961 until 1966. The firm was founded in 1927 and owned by her late husband, R. K. Woolfolk, the late W. M. Perkins and Harry J. Woolfolk.
