Two Fauquier men each received 30 month sentences in the state penitentiary fot robbery offenses relating to a string of burglaries which occurred in Rappahannock, Fauquier and Culpepei counties last winter.
James A. Penn of Catletl . and Sugar Ray Webster ol Goldvein were sentenced last Wednesday by Circuit Court Judge Shore Robertson to a total of 15 years for breaking and entering and grand larceny.
In approving plea bargains reached between the commonwealth’s attorney and lawyers for the accused. Robertson imposed consecutive terms of 7'/j years or each count but suspended all except 15 months per charge, leaving Penn and Webster with 30 months to serve for their offenses here.
The two pled guilty to breaking and entering and taking items valued in excess of $1,000 from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Loyal H. Diehl, Jr., of Amissville on February II.
Robertson noted that the sentences he imposed Wednesday will also run consecutively with time meted out for similar charges against the pair in Fauquier and Culpeper counties. In addition, the judge levied a
