Sub Training
For Nichols
William C. Nichols, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols of Flint Hill, has completed one week of training with Submarine Group Five in San Diego.
A midshipman second class at Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, he received an introduction to all the systems aboard a modern Navy submarine. His training provides him with a better understanding of the submarine force and prepares him for his future duties as a naval officer.
Nichols is a 1978 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
