The Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services has scheduled a series of six regional informational meetings across the state to obtain additional input on the current Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) regulations.
EIA is an acute or chronic virus disease of horses, characterized by fever, depression, weakness, loss of weight and anemia.
The session scheduled for the Northern Virginia area will be held on August 12 at 7 p.m. at Northern Virginia Community College’s Annandale campus.
