Mr. and Mrs. William Dodson and family have returned to their home in Houston, Texas, after a vacation with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Racer and others.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier have made regular visits to see Mrs. Frazier’s mother. Mrs. Eunice Meade, who is recovering from surgery at University Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. George Butler Sr., were luncheon guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clore in Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dennis of Alexandria were Sunday guests of the Rev. W. B. Dennis.
F. R. Frazier and Harold spent the weekend with Mrs. Frazier and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Atkins in Sperryville.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jenkins entertained with a birthday dinner for Mrs. Vennie Dodson of Manassas, having as guests. Mr. and Mrs. John R. Dodson of Catlett, Mr. and Mrs. William B. Dodson of Fairfax. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby H. Jenkins and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Gentry, all of Manassas. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Atkins and Sharon of Culpeper and Mrs. Betty Foster and sons of Slate Mills.
Frank Duncan regularly visits his mother, Mrs. Ethel Smith, in Orange Nursing Home.
Mr. and Mrs. James R. Peyton and family spent the weekend at Nags Head. N. C.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Filyo Sr., were Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Beal and Tracy of Warren, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Fetzko of Rockville, Md. Saturday afternoon the Woods attended a birthday-retirement party for Mrs. George Hartman in Thurmont, Md. The Bi-County Arts and Craft group held a picnic Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wood. The special feature was homemade ice cream, made and furnished by Mrs. Cary Thornhill.
