Cooke

Raymond Eugene Cooke of Castleton died July 22, 1980 at his home. He was 69, the son of Mrs. Bertha Frances Corbin Cooke of Viewtown and the late Clarence Clifford Cooke. He was retired from the Virginia Department of Highways and was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vivian Stover Cooke; two sons, Robert L. Cooke and Eugene C. Cooke, both of Culpeper; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Newcomer of Centreville. Mrs. Joyce Settle of Castleton and Mrs. Dorothy Davis of Hurt; six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers. Clifford Cooke and Harry Cooke, both of Viewtown, and Elmer Cooke of Amissville; and two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Bihl of Lancaster, Pa. and Mrs. Maude Corbin of Culpeper.

Funeral services will be • held today. Thursday, At 2p.m. at the . graveside . in Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. A. C. Walker.

Memorial contributions may be made to Forest Grove Baptist Church.

Pallbearers include T. C. Barron. Leonard Barron, Vernon Jenkins, Tippy Jenkins, James Mills and Earl Yancey.

Atkins

Sinie F. Atkins, 86, of Flint Hill, died Tuesday in Warren Memorial Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

The body is at the TumerRobertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal.
