Carl Roosevelt Jenkins Sr., 75. of Riverton, died July 21, . 1980 at Warren Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the TurnerRobertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Jerry Young. A graveside service ' will be conducted at 2 p«m. at t National Memorial Park ; Cemetery in Falls Church.
Mr. Jenkins was born June 17, 1905 in Rappahannock County, a son of the late Luther E. and Ada F. Jenkins.
Surviving with his widow, Julia Jenkins, are three sons. Carl R. Jenkins Jr., Willard H. Jenkins and Bruce Jenkins, all of Fairfax; one step-daughter, Gertrude Reithmiller of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; one sister, Louise J. Deal of Culpeper; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the TurnerRobertshaw Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m.
