Mrs. John Updike of Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and Mrs. B. M. Varner attended “A Carousel of Dance” given by the Vial School of Dance Saturday evening in ” Culpeper. Suzanne Updike, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Updike of Culpeper was a participant.
Mrs. Lester Yates with Miss Lois Yates of Newport News were recent dinner guests of Miss Janet Yates in Middletown. Mrs. Yates spent the weekend with Janet Yates.
Mrs. Lucille Payne of Madison was a dinner guest Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer.
Mrs. Brown Miller attended funeral services for John Murray at Etlan Sunday and also visited Mr. Miller at the Willolee Nursing Home.
Mrs. Ruby Dwyer and Gary spent the weekend in Lancaster. Pa., where Mrs. Dwyer’s daughter. Mrs. Ken Yoder is a patient in St. Joseph’s Hospital.
