Stone sculpture and over 100 drawings by Nathalie Thebaud Lewis of Flint Hill will be on display in Walker Center Gallery, Woodberry Forest School, from May 8 through June 7.
A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Mrs. Lewis worked for a number of years as a freelance artist and an industrial designer in New York, where she later studied with sculptor John Hovannes at the Art Students League. An illustrator of several recent children’s books, she currently teaches sculpting at Woodberry Forest where she has been a member of the faculty since 1969. There will be a reception for the artist on Friday, May 8, between 7 and 8 p.m.
