county judge and substitute 'judge for the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, in l%8 he was appointed judge and in 197.1 qualified as judge for the 20th Judicial District, where he served until he retired in 1980.
Judge Moffett is survived by his wife Jean Page Buxton Moffett, whom he married in 1946. a daughter Mrs. D. Craig Welling. Gales Gerry. Conn-, two sons. E. Page Moffett. Leesburg, and W. F. Moffett III. Washington, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted May 5 at the Washington Baptist Church, of which he was a member, by the Rev. David Moore and the Rev. Jennings Hobson.
Burial was in the Millet family cemetery at Ben Venue. Active pallbearers were Judge Rayner V. Snead Dr. John P. Snead Jr.. John R. DeBergh. James William Fletcher. J. Newbill Miller. J Richard Latham. Douglas Baumgardner and W. A Buntin.
