Visit Boston
Fifty-three students of Wakefield Grammar School’s 4th, 5th and 6th grades left Wednesday on a four day trip to Boston.
Accompanied by three teachers and three parent chaperones, the group will travel by overnight train from Washington’s Union Station. In addition to visiting the many historical sights of Boston, the group will travel by the Freedom Trail to Lexington and Concord, tour the House of the Seven Gables in Salem, and make a day excursion to Plymouth.
Other highlights of the trip include lunch at Quincy Market, a visit to the Boston Aquarium, and a night tour of Boston harbor.
This is part of the student trips program organized by Wakefield each year. Primary school students will take an overnight trip to Williamsburg in late May.
