Mr. and Mrs. Ray T. Compton and Jeffrey of Castleton spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Greg Settle and Tommy in Jacksonville, N. C. Robert Priest, a student at VPI, Blacksburg, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest.
Mrs. Frances Doyle has been a patient in Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, Md. for two weeks. She anticipates returning home this weekend.
Tammy Walter of Culpeper was a recent dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley.
Mrs. Sarah Latham joined by Sally Mann and Vince Nicholson of McLean had dinner Friday evening at The Depot in Warrenton. Ms. Mann and Mr. Nicholson were overnight guests of Mrs.
Latham, returning to McLean Saturday morning.
Henry Lillard has returned to his home after undergoing surgery in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Ladies To Meet
The Washington Ladies Auxiliary will meet Monday, May 11 at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall. All members are urged to attend.

Tennis Match
The Rappahannock Recreation Association will sponsor a series of tennis tournaments beginning the middle of May with finals held on Dr. Werner Krebser’s courts at Huntly in June.
Open to all county residents and landowners at an entry fee of $3 per person for each tournament, play will include men and women’s doubles, mixed doubles, men and women's singles (with A and B division for women only).
Each doubles team and all single players must supply one can of new tennis balls. One can will be used per match with the winner taking the unopened can on to the next match. Participants will be responsible for contacting ^opponents. and vetting up matches which must be played by specified dtates. Two out of three sets will be played with a nine-point tiebreaker used if tied at 6-6.
Participants must register with Diane Bruce during the day at 675-3621; Jean Lillard at 675-3670 or Pipsi Bischoff at 937-5144 in the evenings. Registration deadline is Friday, May 15.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Rappahannock Recreation Association.
