A country supper featuring old Virginia ham and turkey will be held Saturday, May 9 at the Amissville fire hall for the benefit of the fire company. Hours for serving are 5 to 8:30 p.m.
The menu includes string beans, buttered corn, parsley -'"potatoes, turkey dressing and gravy, congealed salad, cranberry sauce, hot rolls, coffee and tea and homemade desserts.
Dinner for youngsters 3 to 5 will be S2.00; ages 6-11, S3.00; 12 and older and adults. S6.00. Children under 3 are served free of charge.
