Charles Jenkins
Tree Surgeon
Charles William Jenkins, 51, of Culpeper died Saturday, May 28, 1982 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Charles Root and Nettie Pearl Jenkins. He was a retired tree surgeon.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Leake of Aroda; four sons, James Henry Jenkins, Michael Allen Jenkins and Robert Lee Jenkins, all of Culpeper and'Charles Elbert Jenkins of Madison and four grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Clifton Weakley of Sperry ville and Mrs. Leroy Sisk of Boston and two brothers, Ross Turley of Boston and George Boot Jenkins of Sperry ville.
Funeral services were conducted at the Nethers Light House Tabernacle at Nethers Mill on Wednesday by the Rev. Charles Clindinist. Burial was in the Jenkins family cemetery.
