Mrs. Ruby Marjorie Stringfellow of Culpeper died on Saturday, May 28, 1983, at Culpeper Memorial % Hospital.
Bom on October 18, 1926, in Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ruby Rachel Jenkins Leake. She was the widow of Oscar Lee Stringfellow.
Mrs. Stringfellow is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Lee Myers and Mrs. Doris Ann Boggess, both of Culpeper; a son, William Douglas Stringfellow of Amissville; six grandchildren and her stepfather, William P. Grimsley of Culpeper.
Also surviving are three brothers, John P. Leake of Culpeper, Maury J. Leake of Hailwood and Charles W. Leake of Ventura, California and four sisters, Mrs. Helen J. Kelley of Culpeper, Mrs. Gussie Mae Tomczak of Rixeyville, Mrs. Alice Gilliam of Lawton, Okla. and Mrs. Shirley Ann VanAllen of Florida.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Geest Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery.
