After receiving applications and conducting interviews, coordinators of the 4H Cooperative Day Camp scheduled for the week of June 13 have selected 14 young people for the positions of teen counselors.
“We feel very fortunate to have so many skills represented in this group,” said Pali Delevitt, the camp’s cochairman. Delevitt said that the counselors were chosen for their strong ability in one area, and their overall capabilities.
The teen counselors will assist the staff of parents and adults who will be instructors at the camp. Activities offered will be soccer, volleyball, basketball, nature hikes, drama, canoeing, tennis, arts and crafts, tumbling, music and swimming.
