Hannon said it might be possible to work out a program where unwanted dogs could be pictured in the newspaper. Then people could by them. But he said that a good deal of legal and bureaucratic issues still stand in the way of an adoption service.
Right now the RHS is trying to recruit a veterinarian to help in emergency situations and to act^generally, as an advisor in any animal-related problems.
The dates are not yet set, but Hannon said the RHS is planning some fundraisers for the purpose of recruiting members as well as collecting funds.
