The dumping of trash was the subject of one case in General District Court on Tuesday. Larry Carter Dalton, a resident of Warren County, was charged with improper dumping when he put trash bags in Rappahannock County dumpsters.
Dalton told Judge John Alexander that he had been living in Warren County for six months, and had dumped trash in the dumpsters before. Deputy Settle advised Judge Alexander that there is a sign in view that prohibits non-residents of the county from using the dumpsters.
Judge Alexander fined Dalton $16 plus $20 costs, but he suspended file fine on the condition that Dalton tell the people in his neighborhood that it is illegal for residents of other counties to dump their trash in Rappahannock County dumpsters. \ Other cases decided Tuesday inJohn
