Diet Watchers Class To Begin
A new Diet Watchers class will begin on Saturday, January 26 at the Washington Baptist Church. Weighing will begin at 8:30 and classes at 9 a.m. Classes will be held each Saturday morning under the direction of Joyce Wharton of Sperryville. For additional information or registration call 987-8924.
CPR Class At Warren Memorial
A Heart Saver CPR class will be held on Wednesday, January 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the conference room at Warren Memorial Hospital. There is no charge for the class but enrollment is limited to 15. Call 636-6101, extension 110 or 152 to sign up.

Two Series To Begin At
Child Care & Learning Center
The Child Care and Learning Center will be sponsoring two new series in January. Karate will begin Thursday, January 17 at 3:30 and will be a 1 Vi hour lesson. The Amissville United Methodist Church will have a covered dish supper on January 27 beginning at 6 p.m. at the church. Women’s Support Group To Meet
Plans are underway for the formation of a battered women’s support group sponsored by the Women’s Abuse Shelter. The group will be conducted in coryuction with the Fauquier County Department of Social Services and be open to any woman residing in Fauquier, Culpeper, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock Counties. The first session will meet in Culpeper on Wednesday, January 23 at 10 am. and every Wednesday thereafter. Babysitting will be provided §nd transportation may be provided. Parent Advisory Council To Meet
The Rappahannock County Chaper 1 Parent Advisory Council will meet on Tuesday, January 22 at 7 p.m. at the School Board Office. The nuyor item on the agenda will be an overview of all Chapter 1 programs in the school division.
Members of the Parent Advisory Council include Mrs. Kitty Darner, Mrs. Nancy Leake, Mrs. Geraldine Payne, Mrs. Helena Russell and Mrs. Cheryl Smith. All meetings are open to the public.
