knew what you were getting into, represented yourself to the voters, and now want the Supervisors to retro-actively alter your platform promise to the county. I will not stand for it. Perhaps you should have waited until all this litigation actually took place.
Now to take my impersonal business hat off and address my friend and human being. If in the event we some day do have to go to the mat with the “friends of the universe,” I assure you that we will then also be in the market for a specialized environmental, zoning or whatever kind of lawyer to relieve you of undue burden, for after all we are trying to help people.
I just feel the issues you (Luke) have brought up were either things you have decided on and worked for, or simply are non-existent at this time. I also feel you misunderstand the system and the law by feeling and stating that you are working for free when the Compensation Board has allotted to you taxpayers’ valuable dollars, and you knew all about this before running for office.
So in my mind, the resolution to this problem is yours.
