Congratulations goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Ray T. Cannon whose daughter, Ann, gave birth on December 27 to a baby girl, named Meredith Cannon Powell. Mr. and Mrs. Cannon were spending the holidays with Ann and her husband, Peter, in Lancaster, New Hampshire anticipating the big event. This is Ann’s third child. Her sister, Donna Cannon was visiting from Denver, Colorado and celebrated with the family also. The proud grandmother Cannon says that the baby is just beautiful!!-Yes, as Carl Sandburg said, “A baby is God’s opinion that the world should go on.”
Another special celebration took place on January 6,10th grade Richard Tribino, well known as BINO, turned the “big 16”. It’s “driver’s license” time and help Mom out with chauffeuring. With all these basketball, soccer and track practices, a mother could go crazy!! Oh, yeah!—Happy, Happy Birthday!!!
