Flint Hill Home Extension Club met on Tuesday, January 8 at the home of Mrs. Flo Duvall. A planning meeting was held to make plans for projects for the coming year with nine members present.
William Smoot of Culpeper was a Tuesday guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Smoot. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Smoot of Culpeper. On Friday the A.O. Smoots motored to New Market to visit Mr. Smoot’s brother, Humpy Smoot at the Life Care Center there.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Welch and Amber had dinner at the Chesapeake Seafood House in Manassas on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Welch and Billy of Amissville were guests on Saturday of Mr. Welch’s mother, Mrs. Roland Welch at her home “Mountain View.”
Edward Welch returned to his home last week after being a patient at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
