Paul Cramer Jr. is used to flying off the edges of mountains.
In the 1950s the Marshall resident used to fly Corsairs off aircraft carriers that rose like mountains over the cold dark ocean. On Saturday Mr. Cramer once again flew off the edge of a mountain as he guided his Cookin ’N Lookin to victory over the steep timber course in the owner-rider race at the Rappahannock Hunt point-to-point before a crowd of about 6,000.
It was Mr. Cramer’s second victory of the season in the Seven Comers owner-rider timber series and firmly established the 59-year-old rider atop the division.
