Wayne Cilimberg reported that the WSA now has grant anticipation notes, which will secure a cash flow throughout construction of the Sperryville sewage plant.
In regard to the plant Cilimberg requested the following: 1) that the WSA and Rappahannock County establish a joint account with the Second National Bank of Culpeper 2) that he be named contract compliance officer, a position that must be filled to meet the requirements of the community block grant. (It is the duty of the officer to insure that; all federal regulations are complied with.) 3) that payment for services be made to the engineering firm of Buchart-Hom Inc. of Williamsburg, to WSA attorney Doug Baumgardner, and to Eileen Day for appraisal work.
All these requests were approved by the supervisors
In matters unrelated to the Sperryville sewage plant, Cilimberg noted the expiration of Colonel Luke’s fouryear term on the PD9 board of commissioners. Luke has been the commission’s citizen representative from Rappahannock County, and he was recently nominated to be vice chairperson of the commission. The supervisors reappointed Luke to another term as the county’s citizen representative.
