Fashion Show Brings Preview Of

Spring And Summer Collections

The Christian Women’s Club of Front Royal will host a fashion show at their Friday, March 15 luncheon which will be held at the American Legion Building, corner of 8th Street and Virginia Avenue from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Deadline for the registration for the luncheon will be Tuesday, March 12.

Joye-Maye’s Factory Outlet will present a selection of misses, junior, full figure, petite and maternity fashions. Models for the fashions are all Warren County ladies. For additional information call Karen Millen, 703-636-9945 or Janet Perdue at 636-6412.

Culpeper Minute Men Chapter

NSDAR To Meet

The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will hear how the Chapter’s donation to the DAR Schools is used when the Chapter meets Tuesday, March 12 at 2 p.m. in the Social Hall of the Culpeper United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Arthur F. Stocker, resident of Charlottesville and State Chairman of DAR Schools, will brief the Chapter on activities, projects and needs of two DAR Schools in South Carolina and Alabama.

Last minute information will be gathered by the delegates from the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, who will be attending the 89th state DAR conference to be held in Norfolk March 21-23.

Modern Dance Workshop

RAAC is offering a two-day choreography workshop with Jonathan Wolken, Artistic Director of Pilibolus, one of the country’s most unique and successful modern dance ^ jmpanies, on Saturday, March 16 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, March 17 from 10 a.m., to 2 p.m. at Rappahannock High School.

Participants may come for Saturday only and must come Saturday in order to come Sunday. The cost is $15 for one day and $25 for two days. Please register by March 11. Call 675-3193 and leave your name and number or send a post card to RAAC, Box 24, Washington, Va. 22740.

‘The Country Fair’

The Rappahannock’s Woman’s Club will be presenting its annual fashion show on Sunday, March 24 at 2 p.m. at the Rappahannock Elementary School. This years show will feature fashions from Frank’s and Warren Quality Shop in Front Royal and Jack and Jill in Culpeper.

The show, “The Country Fair” will benefit the club’s annual scholarship and the Women’s Abuse Shelter in Culpeper.

Ticket prices are $2.50 for adults and $1.50 for children in advance; $3 and $2 at the door. Tickets may be purchased from any member.

Home Extension Club Meets

The Flint Hill Home Extension Club will meet on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Ellen Mustoe in Washington. All members are urged to attend.
