In regard to courthouse additions for the handicapped, which are mandated by federal law, the Board confirmed that it would seek an estimate of the cost to implement all the proposed additions. However, the supervisors expressed some skepticism about the need for a vertical chairlift, and they agreed to seek a waiver of that requirement if at all possible.

Appointments

The following appointments were announced: 1) G.N. ‘Joe’ Williams of Wakefield district to the Solid Waste Disposal Committee, which holds its next meeting on Wednesday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the courthouse. 2) Mary Edna Schafer of Sperryville to the Community Services Board.
