Rappahannock County High School principal Robert Chappell is the new assistant superintendent for Rappahannock County’s public schools.
The School Board ended a long executive session on personnel last Tuesday night with the appointment of Mr. Chappell, who has been the assistant prifWipR> f»*«IMi«Ha for five yearsplaces Tom Campbell, who left for an acl-"* ministrative position in Orange County.
Mr. Chappell is just one of the new faces in the county school’s top leadership. Dr. David Gangel has already moved into Robert Estabrook’s office after the former superintendent moved out to take a job at the University of Virginia.
Veteran administrative secretary Judy Atkins also resigned to help with her family’s business in Sperry ville.
