Cablevision Corporation and Allegheny Cable TV Inc. These added cable systems in Crimora, Elkton, Grottoes, Harriston, Luray, Mount Sidney, Shenandoah, Stanley and Weyers Cave.
In April, 1989 Adelphia added the Mid-Atlantic Network Inc. and the Berryville TV Cable Company. These systems provide cable service to Winchester, Lexington, Buena Vista, Front Royal, Middletown, Berryville and Stephens City. Adelphia has also bought Richlands Cablevision which serves southwest Virginia.
