A surprise 71st birthday dinner was given to Mrs. Lillie Pullen on Sunday by her family at her home. Including her husband Clyde ‘Bump”,other guests were David “Buddy” Pullen and son Philip and Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Ray Pullen, Jennifer, Jack and Angie, all local. Also Mrs. Lorraine Dwyer and son Jeff, Mr. and Mrs. John Pullen, Mrs. Frances Pullen and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde M. Pullen, all of Washington.
Other guests were Miss Brandy Cave of Scrabble, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Baldwin and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Burke and Jeffrey, all of Slate Mills, Mrs. Peggy Woodward of Castleton, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bailey of Remington, Miss Beluah Bolen and Mrs. Mary Burner, both of Luray.
Mrs. Pullen received many nice gifts.
