B) A Council member disclosed a personal interest (did business with The Inn; the gross or net, not clear which, did not exceed $10,000) before voting; a fact you did not report in your news article about the council meeting.
C) The Planning Commission recommended unamiously, by the members who voted, that the'subdivision not be approved. They also requested information required by the Subdivision Ordinance be submitted to them. <
D) This required information was not submitted to the Planning Commission but was submitted directly to the Town Council by the Mayor. The Town Council did not review the information at the meeting before the subdivision was approved.
E) The Council granted a variance from paragraph 6-8-1 (Subdivision Ordinance) which requires a primary and alternate drainfield site must be located on each lot of the subdivision. Three of the L.O.M.P. lots have off-site septic fields. The decision to grant this variance was made in effect, by the Council at a meeting before the Planning Commission hearing. A council member questioned why the Planning Commission would not approve this off lot septic variance as the Planning Commission was appointed by and worked for the council.
