R. Li I lard Settle
Mr. Richard Lillard Settle, 81, of Reva, died January 26, at the Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.
Mr. Settle was a retired foreman from the Virginia Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Mr. Settle is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie E. Settle of Reva; and one son, Richard H. Settle of Reva. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held January 28, at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Huneycutt officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Deacons of the church.

Culpeper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
