Father Knew Best

“You know, it is hard to explain. When my youngsters were eighteen, they told me how little I knew and that I understood even less. Yet, when they were twenty-three, they began to admire my wisdom and marvel at how smart I had become. It was amazing that I could have improved so in those live years.”

How often fathers of grown children share this experience. Yes, it is dear in most cases that the father did not change at aH. It was the son or daughter who learned during those five years that, in hindsight Father knew best

So it is with our Father in heaven. Many of us attended worship and Bible classes as children. Perhaps in our late teens, some of us unfortunately veered away. This Father’s Day, as we honor our earthly fathers, may we rededkate our lives to our Heavenly Father as we worship Him; remembering that He is wise even when we are not God will smile upon you.
