Amissville volunteers will open the fire and rescue company’s four-night carnival June 24. In addition to the annual Thursday parade, queen coronation ceremony Friday night and awarding of the grand prizes Saturday, of special interest will be a “Beanie Baby” raffle. Tickets will be sold each night on seven Beanie Baby packages which include Princess Di Bear, Erin Bear, Valentino Bear, Peace Bear and others, plus eight Teenie Beanie Babies. At the carnival close Saturday, awarding of the cash prizes, $1000, $500, two $50 and two $25, will take place. The Beanie Babies will be given away at that time. Box suppers
