If I remember, we were assured several years ago at the Rappahannock public hearings that there was only “top quality and safe sludge” from Blue Plains.
One of the mayor concerns expressed at that time was what else would we get with our sludge — with no controls, anything could be dumped into D.C.’s sewer system. It turns out our fears were well grounded.
I think all of Rappahannock County should award the supervisors with a hearty thank you! And so should every down stream county that drinks the water we send them.
