Our thanks to everyone for their prayers for our daughter, Kady, who fell and broke her wrist Saturday, Aug. 8 during a rousing game of badminton. She is now sporting a “cool” purple cast that she will have to wear for the next four weeks! The cast didn’t stop her from having her friends, Ashton Kesner and Janice Renwick, over for a sleep over on the 14th.
The Rappahannock County Fire and Rescue Association will begin E.M.T. basic training on Sept. 14 with classes to be held on Mondays and Thursdays at 7 p.m. at the Flint Hill Fire Station Company 4. There is no prerequisite and everyone is welcome. Daytime volunteers are especially in great demand. You are requested to pre-register by Aug. 20. The only cost will be for your textbook.
