Street festival
in Madison
The Madison Chamber of Commerce will sponsor their sixth annual Taste of the Mountain Street Festival on Saturday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p m. This is a heritage festival that celebrates the Mountain and Traditional cultures of 18th and 19th century America especially as reflected in the cultures and history of the Blue Ridge Mountains region.
There will be artist and crafts people demonstrating their wares. There is no admission charge and there will be free parking at the Madison High School with six shuttle buses for your convenience. For information call 948-4455.
