Pallbearers were her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Shenandoah Park Service.

Marvin Burke

Marvin Burke, 79, of Woodville died Wednesday, Aug. 12 at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond.

Mr. Burke was bom March 12, 1919 in Sperryville to the late Bertha Hawkins and John Ashby Burke. He was a farmer.

He is survived by one sister, Mary Frances Lillard of Highland Springs.

Mr. Burke was predeceased by three brothers Henry Elton Burke, James Lester Burke and Gilbert Ashby Burke.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 15 at TurnerRobertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Jimmy Burke officiating.

Interment followed in Sperryville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Washington Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, 10 Fire House Lane, Washington, Va. 22747.
