The Washington Architectural Review Board approved four of five applications at its Aug. 13 meeting. Susan Longyear presented Elaine Viguerie’s request for fencing around the Gay Street property. “She is recreating a fence design shown in a photograph at the Washington museum for the same house,” said Longyear. Longyear also noted that the adjoining property owner supported the request. The application passed 4-1, with member Donna Kevis voting against.
