• on display Glassworks Gallery will be hosting the artwork of Phillip Smiley during the month of August. Smiley is a county resident currently enrolled in the graduate program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Smiley’s show is a wonderful collection of impressionistic and surrealistic images and shows the depth of this growing artists imagination. The gallery is located one mile west of Sperryville and is open Thursday through Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
